These are the questions buyers ask most before and after buying a game. Each answer links to the page with the full details. If yours isn't here, the quick start covers installing and deploying, and the licensing page covers what each license allows.
Frequently asked questions
What do I get when I buy a game?
A ZIP with the complete project for that game: its TypeScript source in src/, JSON tuning in data/, static files in public/, its tests, a README and an ASSETS.md listing where every asset comes from. It also holds the shared packages the game uses, package.json with pnpm-lock.yaml, a SOURCE_MANIFEST.json with the SHA-256 of every file, and THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
Is it the full source code or a compiled build?
The full source. The ZIP installs and builds on its own, without access to our repository. Before a game goes on sale, its package is unpacked outside our repository and must install from the lockfile, build, typecheck and pass its own tests.
What is the difference between the Standard and Extended licenses?
Standard covers one end product, yours or one named client's, with one production web deployment plus staging. Extended covers up to 5 end products including client work, with source handoff to each client for that client's product only, or running the game on up to 3 portal domains your company owns. Both allow reskinning, rebranding and monetizing. The licensing page compares them, including team seats.
Are the license terms final?
Not yet. Both licenses are draft terms until legal review, and the final terms are published before sales open. Each order stores the exact terms it was sold under, and checkout shows them before you pay.
Which engines are the games built with?
41 games use Phaser 4.2.1 for 2D and 9 use Three.js 0.186.1 (r186) for 3D. All are written in TypeScript and built with Vite and pnpm. We don't claim compatibility with engine versions we haven't tested, so the games are not Phaser 3 projects. See Phaser game source code and Three.js game source code.
Do the games work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Every game supports touch, mouse, keyboard and gamepad, and plays in portrait, landscape or both; the product page says which. We test on desktop Chromium, Firefox and WebKit plus emulated Pixel 7 and iPhone 15 profiles. Emulation isn't a real device, so play the demo on your target phones. Mobile game source code gathers the specs that matter.
Can I customize, reskin and rebrand a game?
Yes, within your license. Levels, costs, waves and economy values live in JSON data files, so many changes need no code. New mechanics need TypeScript. Some games generate their art and sound in code, and each game's ASSETS.md says where its assets come from. The customization guide walks through a rebrand.
What do I need to build and host a game?
Node.js and pnpm to build; the quick start lists the versions and commands. The build is a folder of static files, so any static host or CDN works and no backend is needed. URL parameters such as lang, mute, quality and daily let your page set the language or start the game muted. The hosting guide compares options.
Can I put ads in the games or charge for them?
Yes, both licenses allow monetizing the game. No ad network is built in, so you connect your own, and analytics hooks are an adapter you point at your provider. For portals, see HTML5 games for game portals.
Can I resell, share or publish the source code?
No. Neither license allows redistributing, reselling or publicly uploading the source, for example to a public repository. With Extended, you can hand the source to a client for that client's product only.
How long do I get updates and support?
Under the draft terms, both licenses include 12 months of updates and 6 months of integration support. The license itself doesn't expire: it is a one-time payment, with no subscription.
How do I pay, and when can I download the game?
Checkout is hosted by our payment provider. Once the provider confirms your payment, the game appears in your library with the source ZIP and your license record; some payment methods take longer to confirm. Downloads use short-lived private links. Prices on pricing are shown before tax, and tax is calculated at checkout where it applies.
What is your refund policy?
The refund terms are being drafted and will be published before sales open. Under the draft policy, defective or misdescribed files are refunded. If a package doesn't work as described, contact support first so we can look at it.
Do you offer bundles?
Yes. Each license covers one game, and you can build your own bundle of any games: the more licenses in one order, the lower the price of each. Standard and Extended licenses both count toward the discount.
Can you make a game just for me?
Yes, through an exclusive game request: a small original game built only for you and never sold to anyone else. Sending a brief is free, we review briefs within 5 business days, and you pay only if we accept it. There are 2 slots a month, and the request page states the current delivery time. We also build whole games portals, the platform and the games, quoted per project through a portal brief. Other services, such as setup, rebranding and portal integration, are planned but not on sale yet.
Can I suggest a game for the catalog?
Yes, for free on the roadmap. Each account has 10 votes to spend on suggestions, and if your idea ships, you get a free game credit. New games ship on Tuesdays; new releases has an RSS feed.
Where do I get help after buying?
Open a ticket from your account's support page and tell us the game, the version and what you tried. For setup questions, start with the quick start and the README inside the ZIP, which cover installing, building, testing and deploying.
